Capote, Walk the Line, V for Vendetta. I should do better than that.

  2. Jeffrey Says:

How many of those films are biopics about real dead people? At least four by my count.

At least five are about artists of some kind.

At least five are about politics.

One is based on a comic book.

    One is a documentary.

I’ve only seen two: Herzog’s Grizzly Man (which really wasn’t as good as Wild Blue Yonder or White Diamond, to say nothing of his earlier work) and The Squid and the Whale which I ended up resenting for various personal reasons… I much preferred Baumbach’s writing on The Life Aquatic, but I know a lot of people despise that film (although their reasons for despising it never convince me that it’s not Wes Anderson’s best film by a mile.)

  3. carmen Says:

wow, i’ve seen all but two: syriana and v for vendetta.

  4. Emily Says:

All but Grizzly Man and Squid and the Whale. Pretty good considering I watch more TV than movies these days. Although I did see parts of Grizzly Man on PBS which is why I haven’t sat down and watched the whole thing, the parts I saw it just didn’t captivate me.

BLAST! My 22 rentings of RV were suppossed to bring it the recognition it deserves! Just you wait until next year. I’m already predicting Stomp the Yard….

  6. Karl Says:

Your 22 rentings of RV bring it up to a total of, I think, 23.

  7. Andrew Says:

wow, i haven’t seen any of these. go figure.

  8. Stephen Says:

Maybe you’d find you could sit through them if you watched them dubbed in Japanese or Korean. And in slow motion.

  9. Karl Says:

    oh SNAP

  10. Rebecca Says:

Have six more to enjoy. Will pass on Grizzly Man.

I watch not less than 20 movies a month between Film is Truth, that mail order company, and my son’s collection. Sorry I’ve missed so many of your best.

    Will stop by soon.
